DriveWorks ERP integration through MySQL

We connect your DriveWorks configurator to your ERP through a MySQL database, so BOMs, part numbers, pricing and orders move between engineering and the business without anyone retyping them.

The problem

DriveWorks generates the models, drawings and BOMs. Then someone types it all into the ERP by hand. Part numbers get duplicated, pricing drifts out of date, and every order depends on manual data entry.

What we do

  • Mapping of DriveWorks outputs to your ERP data: items, BOMs, routings and pricing
  • A MySQL database as the link between DriveWorks and your ERP
  • Automatic transfer of generated BOMs, part numbers and properties to the ERP
  • Pricing, inventory and option data pulled from the ERP into DriveWorks rules
  • Integration with an existing ERP, or set up alongside a new ERP rollout
  • Testing on real orders, with logs that show what was sent and when

What you get

  • A working MySQL integration between DriveWorks and your ERP
  • Data mapping documentation
  • Error logging and a short runbook for your IT team

You own the deliverables, in native files, once paid. Your engineers review and approve all work.

Good fit when…

  • Generated BOMs are retyped into your ERP by hand
  • Pricing or part data in DriveWorks drifts out of sync with the ERP
  • You are rolling out a new ERP and want configurator data to feed it from day one

How it works

How a project runs

The full process
  1. Step 1: Scope

A call, then a written Statement of Work with scope, schedule and price.

  2. Step 2: Kickoff

You share standards, templates and files. We confirm the plan.

  3. Step 3: Work overnight

Send work at the end of your day. Review it at the start of the next.

  4. Step 4: Review weekly

Weekly alignment against the SOW. Anything off-scope is fixed free.

Questions about ERP Integration

Which ERP systems can you connect to?

Most ERPs that can exchange data with a SQL database, either directly or through their import tools. We confirm how your ERP accepts data during scoping.

Do you need access to our ERP?

We agree the access needed with your IT team, usually a staging area or import interface rather than your live system. Everything is tested before it touches live data.

We are still choosing an ERP. Is it too early?

No. Planning the integration alongside a new ERP rollout is often the easiest time to do it, because item and BOM structures can be set up with automation in mind.
