Design Automation

DriveWorks implementation services

We build DriveWorks configurators that generate models, drawings, BOMs and quotes from the inputs your sales team already collects.

The problem

Every custom order goes through engineering. Someone opens the last similar job, edits the model, fixes the drawing, updates the BOM and sends numbers back to sales. Quotes wait, and your engineers spend their week on work a rule could do.

What we do

  • Review of your product range, options and design rules
  • Model and drawing preparation for automation (naming, references, templates)
  • DriveWorks rules, forms and specification flow
  • Automated generation of models, drawings, BOMs and quote documents
  • Testing against real past orders before go-live
  • Training and documentation for the people who will run and maintain it

What you get

  • A working DriveWorks project in your environment
  • Prepared master models and drawing templates
  • Rules documentation your team can maintain
  • A test log against real past orders

You own the deliverables, in native files, once paid. Your engineers review and approve all work.

Good fit when…

  • Your products are configurable but every order is still drawn by hand
  • Quotes wait on engineering time
  • You own DriveWorks licenses but never got a project off the ground

How it works

How a project runs

The full process
  1. Step 1: Scope

A call, then a written Statement of Work with scope, schedule and price.

  2. Step 2: Kickoff

You share standards, templates and files. We confirm the plan.

  3. Step 3: Work overnight

Send work at the end of your day. Review it at the start of the next.

  4. Step 4: Review weekly

Weekly alignment against the SOW. Anything off-scope is fixed free.

Questions about DriveWorks Implementation

Do we need our own DriveWorks licenses?

Yes, for the finished configurator, since your team will run it. We will recommend the right DriveWorks setup for your volume and users during scoping.

Can you start with one product line?

Yes, and we usually recommend it. Automating one product line first shows the return quickly and sets the patterns for the rest.

Who maintains the project after go-live?

Your team, us, or both. We document the rules so your engineers can make changes, and we offer ongoing support if you would rather not.
